Since being founded in 1991 by singer Greg Swartz, Classic Trax has become one of New England’s most popular live bands. Featuring solid, professional musicianship and a fun, interactive live show, the band enjoys a busy club schedule. Recent and upcoming appearances include The Skellig, The Tanner Tavern, The Burren, Casino Wharf, Dick’s Last Resort, Rira’s, Baha Brothers Bar & Grille and Twin Rivers Casino. In recent years, Classic Trax has built a strong college fanbase with performances at Bentley College, Boston College, Tufts University and their 'home away from home', McPhail’s at Providence College.

In addition to sharing the stage with such local favorites as Ernie & The Automatics, The McMurphy’s and original Sha Na Na saxophonist Lennie Baker, the band has opened for national acts The Beach Boys, Sister Sledge, The Gin Blossoms, Jessica Simpson and comedian Bob Marley. Classic Trax delivers nationally recognized entertainment to the best New England clubs and colleges.

Not only a top club act, Classic Trax is one of the area’s premier wedding and private function bands. Notable clients have included Jack Williams, Dixie Whatley, former Boston Bruin Randy Burridge, current Boston Cannons head coach Bill Daye, The Boston Red Sox, Boston College Alumni Assoc., The Town of Acton, The City of Everett and The Genesis Fund.
